CDA Lake - Home

I would have to say that Coeur D' Alene Lake is one of my most favorite places in the world! There is just something about the warm weather and the awesome water. I have always loved the water.

When I was around seven years old my family bought a cabin on the lake and we have been having much fun ever since. Our cabin is an older structure with a great view of Rockford Bay.

One of the greatest things that makes the lake so enjoyable is the people I'm around. When I am at the lake I have not one worry in the world and I believe that is part of the reason I love it so much. Whether I'm playing horse-shoes with my friends or swimming with my family, the lake is still very enjoyed.

Some of my favorite things to do while at the lake include swimming, going for boat rides, playing horse-shoes, having camp fires, fighing, and being with family and friends. I have many friends on the lake and it is very nice to be able to jump in the boat and go see one of them at any time. It is also great to be able to take friends water-skiing or tubing behind our boat. Some of my most memerable times at the like have been around a camp fire on the beach. We usually have a fire every night we are at the lake. Everyone sits around the fire, talks, and looks at the stars. It's really great!

In the month of July, my extended family from Oregan rents a large cabin on the lake for a few weeks. Between them and our friends, my family usually spends must of our summer at the lake.
